What I learned at Day of .Net Day 2 >>
What I learned at St. Louis Day of .NET Day 1
Agile doesn’t have much to offer small teams.
Event Driven Development is apparently another name for MSMQ.
WPF has some cool stuff I didn’t realize (“2*” for sizing grid cells).
St. Louis has more “Developer Daisies” that I would have thought.
Most presenters used Apple laptops, and more than one had problems. One had to cancel because of laptop issues.
The sandwiches are better at Ameristar than at America’s Center.
UX is very much underrepresented (One bird’s eye view presentation of an outline of a syllabus of an overview of UX… at best).
One’s butt gets sore after sitting for the better part of 9 hours.
$100 can buy a heck of a good conference.
