I'm loving my new Audiovox 5600 Smartphone (thanks Scoble), and it does just about everything I hoped it would do. One of my main reasons for getting this phone was to be able to do research on the fly. I want to know which c# refactoring book to buy while i'm standing in Borders. I want to know the difference between the Linksys WET54G and the WGA54G (the Netgear M0WEG101 is working out great btw), while I'm standing in Best Buy. Yes I'm that lazy. To that end, this has so far been the perfect phone for me (it's only locked up once, which isn't that bad considering it's runing Windows).
Sure there are more powerful PDA style phones, but for a phone that actually acts like a phone and doesn't cost as much as a mid-range desktop, this is the perfect phone. And if you are curious, it's smaller and weights about half as much as Emily's freebie Nokia. I'm very happy with this phone so far and as soon as SanDisk comes out with their $70 512MB Mini-SD card I'll have a bitchin' mobile entertainment platform.
